ME
I am a drummer and percussionist who has been annoying his environment since I was 5 years old.
I have a professional attitude when making music and interacting with fellow musicians.
I learned the classical snare drum at the age of five and was then active in youth orchestras. This was followed by a start as a drummer in various jazz rock formations, until I finally learned playing percussion instruments as well.
Starting with Cuban percussion with Freddie Santiago and Martin Verdonk and later African rhythms with Arona N'Diaye and especially Famoudou Konate. Here it was the polyphonic malinke rhythms that shaped my further career.
I play percussion and drums in various bands and projects, with a focus on jazz, funk, world music and blues-rock.
I live in the vicinity of Nuremberg, Germany.
